A Trans States Airlines Embraer ERJ-145 yesterday ran off the runway at Ottawa Airport in Canada.

Flight 3363, operated on behalf of United Express, landed at Ottawa on 4 September at 15:29 local time, en route from Chicago.

The 50-seat aircraft "exited the runway" on landing, said Trans States.

No injuries were reported among the 44 passengers and three crewmembers on board.

"Trans States Airlines cannot speculate as to the cause of the incident," said the airline.

"The carrier will be actively involved in the investigation, which is being led by the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB). Trans States Airlines will provide more information as it becomes available."
