Two US soldiers have been killed in a shooting in front of Frankfurt Main Airport.
A spokesman for the airport's operator, Fraport, says the incident happened outside Terminal 2 at about 15:30 local time.
The spokesman adds that a suspect from Kosovo allegedly opened fire on a bus carrying US soldiers outside the terminal, killing two and wounding two others.
"The perpetrator has been taken into custody by German police," says the spokesman.
All operations at the airport have since returned to normal, he adds.
