Ukrainian carrier AeroSvit is continuing its rapid network growth with the announcement of flights from its Kiev base to London.

The carrier will fly five times weekly to London Gatwick from 1 March.

AeroSvit opened 21 new international routes in 2010 and plans major expansion of its fleet over the next three years.

It will double its fleet of Boeing 767-300ERs to six by mid-2011 and is due to start deliveries next year of seven Boeing 737-800s. It has also recently ordered four Boeing 737-900ERs.
