Russia's Ulyanovsk higher civil aviation school has taken delivery of a Sukhoi Superjet 100 flight simulator from the firm Dynamika.

The manufacturer says the simulator has been produced for the training centre following a federal tender in August 2011.

Dynamika acted as the general integrator for the project, bringing together components and software supplied by several Russian and foreign companies.

"This machine is designed for training piloting, navigation and operation of on-board systems for Superjet crews, as well as actions in case of failure and malfunction," it adds.

Dynamika says the programme has enabled it to expand into civil aviation activity, previously a relatively small field for the company.
