Russia's UTair has secured certification to provide maintenance service for its Sukhoi Superjets at its Ufa station.

The airline is aiming to begin commercial flights with the 103-seat type, through its UTair-Express division, in July.

It says that the Ufa maintenance base has been taking on technical personnel and equipment over the first half of this year and that it has passed inspection from federal regulator Rosaviatsia.

UTair will operate the long-range LR version of the Superjet 100.
