With most experts and indicators pointing to a strong bounce back for the industry, delegates to the world's biggest business aviation show arrived in Orlando on 15 October to a barrage of major announcements.
These included a major breakthrough in supersonic transport, one of the largest deals in years for the sector with NetJets' order for up to 325 Textron Citation jets, and the launch of two mid- market types by Embraer.
