Central European budget airline Wizz Air has agreed the sale and leaseback of three Airbus A320 aircraft with the relatively new vehicle Jackson Square Aviation.

All three twin-jets are new and scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of next year.

Under the agreement Jackson Square will take over the ownership of the 180-seat A320s after they are delivered from the airframer and Wizz Air will take them on lease for an 11-year term.

"The deal allows Wizz Air to continue financing its impressive growth and also proves the robustness of its business model," says the carrier.

Jackson Square, which was involved in a sale and leaseback with Air Berlin earlier this year, says the low-cost carrier sector is "exhibiting dynamic growth" across Central and Eastern Europe.
