Xiamen Airlines plans to launch eight new services as part of its summer schedule starting from 31 March.

The carrier will begin four times weekly Changsha-Guiyang and daily Hangzhou-Changsha-Lanzhou services on 31 March. It will also commence a daily Nanning-Hangzhou-Dalian service on 20 April.

It will launch daily Quanzhou-Hangzhou-Tianjin and Xiamen-Tianjin-Harbin services on 10 May and 10 July respectively.

Daily Fuzhou-Guiyang-Lijiang flights will begin on 10 August, followed by a daily Tianjin-Xiamen-Sanya service on 10 September.

Xiamen Airlines also plans to launch daily Quanzhou-Hong Kong flights on 3 April, and start a direct service to Jakarta during the summer.

For the Dalian-Xiamen-Singapore and Dalian-Xiamen-Kuala Lumpur routes, the airline will increase frequencies to three and four times weekly respectively, starting 31 March.

Innovata schedules show that Xiamen Airlines will compete Shenzhen Airlines on the Quanzhou-Hong Kong route. It also competes with Malaysia Airlines on the Xiamen-Kuala Lumpur route and with SilkAir on the Xiamen-Singapore route.
