Philippine low-cost carrier ZestAir plans to start a service between Manila and Singapore from 29 January.
It will operate on the route five times a week with Airbus A320 aircraft, says a ZestAir spokeswoman.
The carrier will compete on the route with Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Jetstar Asia and Singapore Airlines, according to Innovata.
