FLEXJET BENEFITS

Bombardier's fractional ownership operation, Flexjet, has two new benefit packages available. The first, a 90-day cancellation period, promises a 100% refund in the case of a contract cancellation for any reason during its first three months. The second is a programme called Unlimited Carry Forward Hours. This enables fractional and lease customers the ability to roll over 100% of their accrued and unused hours into a future purchase.

PIAGGIO DEALERS

Piaggio Aero has appointed new dealers in two territories. Farnborough airport-based Corporate Jet Management will market the Piaggio P180 Avanti II in the UK, Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands. Meanwhile, Cairo firm Alkan Air will become the airframer's Egyptian agent.

RUSSIAN FIRST

Russian company HeliClub has become AgustaWestland's first authorised service centre in the country for its AW139 medium-twin helicopter. HeliClub is 40km (25 miles) from Moscow's ring-road and also offers on-demand passenger transport. It will provide MRO services and maintain a spare parts inventory for the type. Fifteen AW139s have been sold in the Russian and CIS markets.

ROTANA AT AL BATEEN

Fledgling UAE-based business jet provider Rotana Jet Aviation, which operates a Gulfstream G450, has signed up to base itself at Al Bateen Executive airport. It will lease hangar 27 at the Abu Dhabi site, from where it will expand its range of services to include line maintenance and other technical operations.
