Air medical specialist Flight Ambulance International is purchasing six specialist stretchers from Spectrum Aeromed for its Bombardier CRJ200. The medevac division of Nuremberg-based charter operator FAI rent-a-jet is buying five 2800 Series stretchers and one stretcher with advanced life support systems. Spectrum says the six-stretcher floorplan will be unique on a CRJ aircraft. FAI operates an all-Bombardier fleet, which comprises Learjets and a Challenger 604.

Bombardier turned a $110 million profit in the first quarter of 2022 despite a dip in aircraft deliveries, and has rolled out a new logo it says reflects the company’s shift to become a manufacturer of business jets only.
