Northrop Grumman is to supply the inertial navigation system for the new Cessna Citation Sovereign. The US defense and technology giant's fiber-optic, gyro-compassing LCR-100 attitude and heading reference system will be fitted as standard on the new aircraft, which was announced at the show by Cessna yesterday. Additionally, Northrop Grumman will supply the new LCR-100N Hybrid Navigator on other Citation aircraft as an option. The new Sovereign is expected to receive certification in early 2013.
