Up until last year's Farnborough air show, where it flew a Qatar Airways 787, the Seattle airframer had a long-running policy of not performing in displays. However, on the back of its success at the UK show, Boeing will again put up one of its aircraft.

Air India has a total of 21 of the GEnx-1B-powered aircraft on order, with six in service according to Flightglobal's Ascend Online database.

A Qatar 787 will also be on the static display in Paris.
