Cobham Aviation Services and General Atomics Aeronautical Systems have renewed their teaming agreement covering support for the Predator B and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles operated by the Royal Air Force.
The agreement covers operations in the UK as well as “future opportunities” in Australia, Cobham says in a statement.
The two parties have already been working together for 10 years to support Predator B/Reaper operations, says Cobham president Peter Nottage.
“This Teaming Agreement enables us to apply our specialist capabilities in supporting sophisticated, fit-for-purpose aerial platforms that perform special missions,” he adds. “We look forward to continuing working with our US partner to deliver such support services.”
