(clarifies that OLT Express Poland is still operating normally)

Polish airline OLT Regional Express has filed for bankruptcy after ceasing flights today, though freight charter operator OLT Express Poland continues to operate normally.

In a statement on the company's website, it says the scheduled flights operator OLT Regional Express has cancelled flights and had filed for bankruptcy.

But it says another company within the group OLT Express Poland Sp, which provides international freight charter flights, is still operating and is not threatened.

The group's Germany operation meanwhile OLT Express says its services are unaffected and its expansion plans for the Germany market are continuing. But in a statement it says the search for a new owner has picked up speed and that initial discussions have begun.
