Lessor CIT Aerospace has revealed the majority of the engines selected to power the 50 Airbus A320neo twinjets it committed to earlier today.

The choice has been finalised for 45 of the Neos. The Pratt & Whitney PW1100G will be on 30 of the aircraft, while CFM International's Leap-X1A will power another 15 Neos.

Although five aircraft are yet to have an engine choice confirmed, the lessor has options with P&W for another 40 engines and with CFM for 20 engines.

CIT has signed an MoU with Airbus for 50 A320neos.
