Lockheed Martin has a new forecast predicting demand for more than 100 F-16 fighters beyond 2015, when the last aircraft is scheduled for delivery, said Ana Wugofski, vice-president of international business development.

The F-16 is being reviewed by Oman in the Middle East, and Lockheed's radar supplier - Northrop Grumman - expects the UAE to sign a follow-on order for F-16 Block 60s.

Meanwhile, Lockheed is also upgrading its new and old F-16s with new weapons, sensors and communications systems, which will likely continue. "I don't see an end to that in my career," Wugofski said.
