The Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) has unveiled a 3D film promoting its C919 narrowbody jet at Asian Aerospace. The eight-minute movie, open to visitors at Comac's stand, gives viewers a glimpse into what the aircraft will look like.

Comac was initially expected to show its life-size cabin mock-up, which made its debut at Airshow China in Zhuhai last November. But the mock-up is now being displayed at a Beijing convention showcasing scientific advancements in China.

The 3D film by Comac includes artists' impressions of the aircraft interior, from the cockpit area to the passenger cabin and lavatories to the galleys. It also gives a quick snapshot of some of the major suppliers on the aircraft, as well as the aircraft specifications.
