Dallas Airmotive, in conjunction with Stage III Technologies, has completed the preliminary design of its Stage 3 hushkit for the Fokker F28. Ground testing of the kit for the aircraft's Rolls-Royce Spey Mk555 is set to begin next January, with flight tests following in the second quarter of the year. The company says that test results on its kit for the Spey-powered Gulfstream II/III business jets, from which the F28 model is being developed, suggest that the equipment could result in less than 5% loss of cruise thrust.
