Orbital images
Orbital Imaging (Orbimage), an affiliate of OrbitalSciences, has acquired St Louis, Missouri-based Trifid, a maker of reconnaissance image processing hardware and software which will form the nucleus of an on-line system for archiving and distributing high-resolution imagery from the company's OrbView satellites.
