The farewell tour for the Royal Australian Air Force F-111 made a final stop at the show. Australia, which is the last operator of the venerable General Dynamics bomber, will stand its remaining aircraft down by the end of this year. It is replacing the swing-wing jets with Boeing F/A-18E/Fs initially. The display included the F-111's famous "dump and burn" trick where the pilot jettisons fuel and lights the afterburner to produce a fiery trail.
