South African regional carrier Comair's headquarters has been subjected to an armed robbery attempt today, but the airline indicates that no-one was injured.
While details are sketchy, a spokeswoman for the airline states that the attempted robbery occurred at the head office located near to Johannesburg International Airport.
"There were no injuries, thank goodness, and the police are now involved," she says. It is unclear whether shots were fired.
Comair operates services as a British Airways franchise partner, but also has a low-cost division called Kulula.
