PACIFIC BASE
Hawker Pacific is planning to relocate its Singapore regional headquarters to a new $11.6 million business aircraft and customer service centre at Seletar Aerospace Park. The 9,400m2 (101,000ft2) facility will include a fixed-base operation, paintshop and dedicated line and heavy maintenance hangars. The facility is scheduled for completion early next year.
EXECUTIVE APPROVAL
US maintenance company Executive Flight has won US Part 145 approval for its Boeing Field, Seattle-based facility, paving the way for the company to provide maintenance support to a range of turbine-powered aircraft at the new 558m2 (6,000ft2) facility.
RUSSIAN HAWKER
Russian charter and management company Jet-2000 Business Jets has taken delivery of the country's first Hawker 4000 business jet. The privately owned super-midsize aircraft is managed by Jet-2000 from its Moscow base.
EXECUJET IN VALENCIA
ExecuJet Europe has opened its fourth European fixed-base operation in Valencia, Spain. The facility, formerly owned by Assistair, boosts ExecuJet's FBO portfolio to seven with bases in Berlin, Cape Town, Dubai, Johannesburg, Paris Le Bourget and Zurich.
GAMA EXPANDS
Gama Aviation has introduced a Bombardier Challenger 850 into its UAE-based charter fleet. The privately owned business jet is managed by Gama's Dubai-based operation, joining four other business aircraft in service - a Global XRS, Embraer Legacy 600, Challenger 604 and 605. Gama says it is on track to obtain its UAE maintenance approval for its Dubai operation before the end of the second quarter and is working to complete its new 11,150m2 (120,000ft2) facility at Sharjah, which will provide hangarage and maintenance facilities for business jet aircraft in the region. It will also be home to a new FBO.
AIR PARTNER BASE
International air charter broker Air Partner has opened an office in Los Angeles - its fourth base in the USA and its 20th worldwide.
