Two board-level executives at the UK Civil Aviation Authority have been replaced. Head of the flight operations department John Mimpriss has resigned. He is succeeded by his former deputy, Doug Akherst. Michael Willett, group director safety regulation, has been replaced by Richard Profit, former director of safety, security and quality assurance at the National Air Traffic Services who, only in June, became head of aerodromes and air-traffic-standards division of the safety regulation group.
