Air Canada's auditor Ernst & Young has asked a Canadian court to approve a restructuring plan that will clear the way for the carrier's emergence from bankruptcy protection. Ernst & Young says the plan is the result of "significant discussion and negotiation" between Air Canada and its stakeholders. Air Canada's unsecured creditors overwhelmingly approved the carrier's restructuring plan on 17 August.
