The 50:50 Trent engine overhaul venture to be established next year by SR Technics and Rolls-Royce will trade as "Temro". The new company will maintain R-R engines powering widebodies operated by European and African airlines. Work on Trent 500 and 700 engines, which power the Airbus A340-500/600 and A330-200/300, respectively, will be handled in Zurich by SR, a subsidiary of Swissair parent SAirGroup. Services for the larger Trent 800, which powers the Boeing 777, will be performed by R-R at its Derby headquarters in the UK.
