Germania has signed a firm order with Airbus for 25 A320neos, taking options for an additional 15.

The narrowbodies will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, Airbus confirms.

Berlin-based Germania operates a fleet of 10 A319s and five A321s to destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

It is also the charter provider for Airbus's twice-daily flights between its production sites in Toulouse and Hamburg.
