The first Embraer Phenom 300 destined for fractional ownership provider NetJets has been registered with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

According to Flightglobal's Ascend database, the light business jet has been assigned the registration N-300QS.

NetJets has ordered 50 Phenom 300s and has an option for another 75 of the type - which will be dubbed the Platinum Edition.

The aircraft have been designed exclusively for NetJets and will feature technology and comforts based on the requirements of the company's fractional share owners, says the operator, which is based in Columbus, Ohio.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin next year.
