Goodrich made the Actuation Systems for the flap and airbrake systems as well as fuel components; Goodrich's Power System team supplied electrical power generation and distribution systems; and the company's Sensor Systems division is supplying the SmartProbe Air Data System and Primary Ice Detection Systems.

Robert Turpin, business development director, Regional, Business & Military, Europe for Goodrich's Actuation Systems team says: "We're proud to be part of the overall Goodrich effort participating on this exciting program. We enjoyed the opportunity to work with Dassault using digital aircraft modelling. In addition, our Actuation Systems team demonstrated its capacity to develop and deliver airbrakes and flap systems for the aircraft in a very compressed time frame.

"Goodrich has strengthened its know-how to develop and supply, in a very short timeframe, whole systems that meet our customers' needs through efficient engineering processes, project management and supply chain optimisation."
