Harness belt company Schroth is hoping to secure a large number of 'restraining orders' here at Le Bourget.

As well as a whole host of harness belts, the German-based company, exhibiting in Hall 2C/C23, is showing its new Profile Integrated Retractors (PIR) system. The PIR is designed to become the upper backrest cross bar of aircraft seats used by flight crews and attendants.

Company spokesman Stefan Meier-Arndt says: "The PIR provides excellent low-friction webbing guides and can easily be installed during the seat manufacturing process. It can also reduce cost at all levels and can reduce service AOG time."

Schroth is also using Paris to announce its new partnership with Aircraft Belts from Texas.

Meier-Arndt says: "This new alliance brings manufacturing and servicing facilities together, so we can now offer our customers the complete belt package."
