The New Zealand Commerce Commission has delayed until 24 October release of its final decision on the proposed Air New Zealand-Qantas alliance. The commission was originally due to issue its final determination by the end of September, but says it now needs extra time to consider the extensive information received during a six-day hearing on the proposed alliance. The commission's Australian counterpart ruled against the alliance in September.
