China Aircraft Leasing has exercised purchase options for 25 Boeing 737 Max jets.

It expects the additional aircraft to be delivered in stages until 2025, but did not state the variant that has been selected.

The Hong Kong-based lessors adds that the options are from an order of 50 737 Max aircraft made on 14 June 2017. This brings its cumulative order for the Max to 75 aircraft.

CALC says that as at 24 December its owned and managed fleet comprised 133 aircraft, and that it also has on order over 215 Airbus narrowbodies and 10 COMAC C919s.
