PAL boss quits
Philippine Airlines (PAL) president Jose Antonio Garcia has resigned, in a further sign that the carrier's chairman and controlling owner, Lucio Tan, is moving to distance himself from the financially troubled airline. Crippling strikes have left the airline in a state of virtual bankruptcy.
