Art Rosales is to join Boeing Satellite Systems as vice president of commercial programmes, while Dr John Konrad joins as vice president of commercial marketing and sales. Former Moroccan finance minister Mohamed Berrada has been appointed chairman of flag carrier Royal Air Maroc. Berrada will replace Mohamed Hassad as head of the carrier as part of a major reshuffle. Rolls-Royce has named Ian Aitken president of corporate aircraft. In addition to his current role as executive vice president, Aitken will provide overall leadership for the global corporate aircraft business. EADS Sogerma America has appointed two sales and marketing directors - Sonny Stern for the USA and Steve Duran for Canada and Latin America - to represent their subsidiary, EADS Aeroframe Services, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Robert Swan has been named executive vice president and chief financial officer of TRW. Previously Swan was chief executive (CEO) at the Webvan Group. The new Orbcomm, which has purchased the assets of the former low-Earth satellite system of the same name, has named Hans Hoffmann as its CEO and president. Chris Gibson-Smith has been named non-executive chairman of the UK's National Air Traffic Services, a new public-private partnership. Bombardier Aerospace has appointed James Hoblyn managing director of Flexjet Europe, the Canadian company's European fractional ownership programme. He was previously vice president of marketing and programmes at Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft.
