UK executive jet operator Bookajet, now branded as Club328 to reflect its AvCraft Dornier 328Jet fleet, announced two new executive appointments at the show.
In a move to create a strong engineering and maintenance organization, Mike Farge has been named managing director engineering. Farge has almost 40 years experience in commercial aviation, starting his career with the Westland Group - Normalair Garrett in 1968. Prior to his new role Farge was chief executive of CASCO, where he was instrumental in securing long-term total support contracts with operators including Aer Lingus, Albanian Airlines, Flightline and Air Wales.
Farge says: "We have some great prospects to explore third-party work and in the longer term we will be looking at opportunities, both in the UK and Europe."
On the marketing front, the company has appointed Mike Ryan as director, sales. Ryan is a former director of sales for BAE Systems.
This year he has been advising and working with Bookajet Operations, mark-eting Web-enabled crew training systems and e-business for airline procurement, and will continue to provide such expertise in his new role.
