Second PRM commission

A production-version of the AlliedSignal Aerospace Precision Runway Monitor (PRM) system has been commissioned at Minneapolis-St Paul Airport. The PRM, which has an electronically scanned (E-Scan) radar, allows airports to conduct simultaneous, independent aircraft landings under instrument conditions on parallel runways as close as 1,036m (3,400ft).
