Southwest for Smiths

Southwest Airlines has awarded Smiths Industries a contract worth over $20 million to upgrade the flight management computers of 208 of its Boeing 737-300s and -500s to current production standard. The Grand Rapids, Michigan-based arm of the UK company expects to complete deliveries by December.
