Bombardier says its unique annual Safety Standdown training seminar, held last month in Wichita, Kansas attracted a record 420 pilots and flight managers. Safety stand-downs have their roots in military aviation and focus on operational/flight safety issues. Almost half of the participants operate non-Bombardier types.
