A Raytheon/Thomson-CSF joint venture has won a $101 million deal to provide Phase IV/V of the Swiss FLORAKO air defence system. The deal includes multifunction military radar and monopulse secondary surveillance radars supplied by Thomson-CSF, as well as the modification of military radar sites and integration of the new systems into FLORAKO. Raytheon is the prime contractor for the project and responsible for system architecture and systems integration.
