Canadian maintenance, repair and overhaul supplier Aveos has secured 12-year engine and airframe maintenance agreements with Air France.

Starting this month, Aveos will maintain CFM56 engines powering Air France's Airbus A320s, A330s and A340s and the airframes for those aircraft types.

Formerly an ACE Holdings wholly-owned subsidiary, Aveos was previously Air Canada Technical Services, and has been working to expand its customer base beyond its former namesake.

Recently Aveos secured new engine and overhaul business from Air China and Air Moldova, and signed letters of intent with Indonesian carriers Merpati and Mandala.
