Aer Lingus and United Airlines have expanded their codeshare agreement to include the US carrier's year-round Washington Dulles-Dublin service, as well as its summer flights from Chicago O'Hare to Shannon.

The Irish flag carrier already codeshares on United-operated flights to 51 cities across North America. In return, United places its code on Aer Lingus-operated flights from Dublin, Cork, Belfast and Shannon to London Heathrow.
