TORC Technologies (booth 126) announced the release of its JAUS Toolkit for use with National Instruments' LabVIEW graphics system yesterday at a press briefing at the show.
The program language uses the JAUS standard with the intention of making the technology easily adaptable to military, and potentially civil, unmanned ground vehicles within the next five years, according to TORC CEO Michael Fleming.
"It's important to keep an open standard so that the community is moving forward," he said.
He also revealed that TORC is working with the Marine Corps on a limited objective experiment to transition autonomous technology to Humvees for an experimental weeklong resupply mission.
