Avions Mignet of France displayed the HM.1100 Cordouan tandem-wing, ultra-light aircraft at the Reaseau du Sport de l'Air Rally in Epinal Mirecourt, France, on 18-20 July. The aircraft, which had its first flight in June, is built from a mixture of metal and composites, has a three-axis control and nose-wheel undercarriage and seats two passengers side-by-side. Powered by a Rotax 912 engine, the Cordouan has a cruise speed of 150km (80kt), and, according to Avions Mignet, is "designed not to stall". The HM.1100 Cordouan is a successor to the HM.1000 Balerit.
