Airlines and component manufacturers alike can tap into a powerful software system which holds detailed information on virtually every commercial aircraft on the planet.
AvSoft from Rugby, England, is at the show this week to promote the ACAS Product Tracker system, a highly flexible market information package, which can provide data on more than 28,000 aircraft.
ACAS has the ability to log the value of a particular aircraft. Component specialists can check when individual aircraft within a fleet are due for maintenance overhaul. In the same way, airline maintenance teams are able to market their maintenance capacity when they have a labour surplus.
ACAS is expected to complete its coverage of the world commercial aircraft sector later this year with the addition of information on Russian aircraft, the only international fleet to be omitted to this point.
