Boeing has delivered the first YAL-1AAirborne Laser aircraft to the USAir Force flight test centre at Edwards AFB, California. The Airborne Laser Integrated Test Force will install the lasers and optical system on the test aircraft. It will be tested on the ground and against surface and other airborne targets before the missile shoot-down trial.
