Boeing is slowly winning its long battle to re-establish trust with the US Department of Defense after the scandal that saw former chief financial officer Mike Sears jailed for offering a job to a key government employee, says chairman Lew Platt. Speaking at the Paris air show, the former Hewlett-Packard chief executive said: “We’ve worked hard internally to clean our house. This helps to rebuild our credibility.
