Honeywell has unveiled a series of contract wins including a $70 million deal to upgrade and support TFE73-2C engines on 27 Lear 35 corporate aircraft; China Aviation is spending $25 million installing Primus Epic control display systems on their fleet of Y-8 cargo aircraft. The company expects to retrofit between two and five aircraft a year for 10 years; Swissair, Virgin Atlantic and SAS have awarded Honeywell a contract to supply up to 76 Airbus aircraft with TCAS. Together the deals have a list price of over $14 million. Field Aviation has been awarded a contract by Continental Express for systems modifications on its ERJ-145 fleet. The Canadian company's work will involve mandated rule changes to install cargo fire systems and digital flight recorders on 34 aircraft. Rockwell Collins Avionics has been selected by Bombardier Aerospace to supply its Pro Line 4 avionics for the new Regional Jet Series 900. The system is already used on other Bombardier regional jets. Aviointeriors of Italy has been selected by Fairchild Dornier to be the seat supplier for the 728 Jet.
