CHEETAH

Denel Aviation (formerly Atlas) has implemented an update of the South African Air Force's Dassault Mirage IIIs to Cheetah standard. The Cheetah, revealed in July 1986, is based on the Israel Aircraft Industries Kfir. Some 50% of the original airframe is rebuilt during the Cheetah conversion, which includes a dismountable flight-refuelling probe.
