Dow actuators
Dow Chemical has been awarded an $8 million contract by the US Navy Air Warfare Center to investigate materials which could replace actuators. Dow will identify aerospace applications for the new "smart" materials and see if they can interact with electro-magnetic radiation, allowing wireless control.
