At least two bidders have emerged for the 66 per cent stake the government is offering in state-owned Estonian Air. SAS is leading a consortium that took 41 per cent of new Latvian carrier Air Baltic last year. Baltic International USA, which is also part of the Air Baltic consortium with an 8 per cent stake, appears to have put in a separate bid.
